About the Role

We are now looking for you who want to be part of us and work with service and security work in the port protection area. As a maritime and port protection inspector, you will work with service/security tasks within the port protection area. You will perform checks on passengers, goods, luggage, and vehicles in port environments. You have an important role as the checks aim to prevent and deter terrorist crimes in our port facilities and on vessels within Sweden's territorial waters. Your work will be conducted under police supervision.

You will, for example:

• Perform security checks through passport control, body searches, and X-ray.
• Report to the police authority as needed.
• Take action/manage incoming alarms within the industrial and port area.
• Work within reception/security center
• Patrol

The position is full-time and you will work on a 5-4 schedule with working hours from 19:00 to 07:00.

Requirements

You have a high school education with passing grades in Swedish and English and are at least 20 years old.

The position also includes medically established requirements regarding vision and hearing, specific requirements are detailed below.

It is an advantage if you already have a driver's license and language skills beyond Swedish and English. If you have experience with similar tasks and have, for example, an X-ray education, that is also an advantage but not a requirement. We will place the greatest emphasis on your personal suitability for the position.

As a person, you are service-oriented, calm, and organized to handle a periodically high work pace. Since you will be using various tools in your role, we see that you are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. As you will be working in a group, we believe that you have an easy time collaborating with others. Taking responsibility comes naturally to you – you are simply an honest, helpful, and vigilant person who makes those around you feel safe.

Specifically requested requirements:

• High school education with passing grades in Swedish and English.
• That you are at least 20 years old.
• Driver's license B

Medically established requirements:

• That you have a visual acuity at a distance, with or without correction, of 0.7 or better in each eye separately and a visual acuity with both eyes of 1.0 or better, and a near vision acuity, with or without correction, sufficient to read an N5 card or equivalent at a distance of 30-50 cm.
• That you have normal color vision.
• That you have a hearing deviation in each ear of less than 30 dB in tests with an audiogram for frequencies below 2,000 Hz.

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company (the company will make that application). For this position, it is also required that you are assessed suitable for the tasks based on compliance with the law and other circumstances through testing according to the Security Protection Act and the Security Protection Ordinance.
